Installation Issues: Tag 'place' not on old posts.

I have only used one PlugIn, so far. i.e. 'Akismet' So I am trying to get UTW up and running.
Using: WP 2.2.2
I checked the forum, (http://www.neato.co.nz/forum/) and with 'Lorelle' and every where I went it was the same (To me. :-[ ) Generalality: Copy the FILES to wp-content/plugins/UltimateTagWarrior

I must of missed the UTWfin-1WP2.zip file unzipping. (Because I kept trying to unzip it and apparently it was already unzipped, as I finally seen the folders below it.) :-[
I have only used ONE PlugIn 'Akismet' and it was just a matter of a click or two. So here is my Q(s):

1.) Do I Upload the whole 'UTWfin-1WP2.zip' file to a new folder I name 'UltimateTagWarrior' in /public_html/wp-content/plugins? (I do not think so!) :-\

2.) Or UpLoad The whole '_MACOSX' folder to the new folder I named 'UltimateTagWarrior'? (Probably!!!) :-!

I am not sure what you mean when you write: Copy the FILES to wp-content/plugins/UltimateTagWarrior. :-\

3.) Or Do I take each individual file out each folder and ULd them one at a time into the new folder I named 'UltimateTagWarrior'? (I do not think so!)

If I (Accidentally) guessed in one of the three options above a reply with just "1.) 2.) or 3.)" will suffice. :-)

I went ahead & upLoaded What I thought I needed to do. and I show having UTW1.0, UTOpi/bugfix 1 And UTO1.3Legacy in the Plugin Management page.
Ultimate Tag Warrior 3 is called for in Ultimate Tag Warrior 3: Help and it is not in the Plugin Management page.

After I uploaded UTW there were what apeared as empty folders, e.g. __MACOSX; and UTWpiWP2 they were empty except fo some Sub-Folders and I deleted all of them except for UltimateTagWarrior/ ... ... ... the only thing, ... when they were deleted, it look like a lot of files were being deleted! Do I need to put them back in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/UltimateTagWarrior ?

Is there such a thing as Ultimate Tag Warrior 3, & if so do I need it in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/UltimateTagWarrior ?

Nothing but praise for UTW everywhere I have looked and WP Moderator "Kafkaesqui" gave me the heads up on UTW to begin with. :-)
